Assessment and opinion of the subject

Personally, at the beginning of the year when I saw the subject, I didn't think it would be very useful. As I went through the classes, I realized that apart from liking what we did, it was a class where we could let go of our imagination and freely create what we were asked to do. That is why I think this is a very necessary subject, because in the rest of the subjects we cannot let go of our imagination and creativity and I think that these are very important tools in our future work. On the other hand, what I liked was the cultural importance that it has brought us and thanks to it we have been able to value the closer museums and art centers and it has allowed us to think about how  we can work culture and art with our future students. Artist research

In my case, as I mentioned before, the art work my group and I chose was" the garden of delights" (El Jardí de les Delícies) made by  Hieronymus Bosch . Now, we'll have a deeply look into Bosch's life. He was member of a family of professional drawers that lived in the city of Bolduque, (the  Netherlands).  We don't have much information about his studies but he did have interests in the sciences field, concretely in ornithology. An example of this interest can be seen in the garden of delights work, where there are more than 70 species of birds. Group artistic activity in la Tecla Sala

My group composed by Andrea Alaez, Ana Arrontes, Aina Bisbal, Laia Fàbregas, Raquel Carbajo  and me, Marta Arumí, have created the follow activity to take place in la Tecla Sala, an art center  located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat in Barcelona. Tecla Sala's building façade After saying that, now we'll see what is our artistic activity about: Our Artistic Activity Unit will be held in Tecla Sala Museum and the activity will be focused on the exhibition  “Teixint identitats”. This exhibition consists of artworks made of cloth in order to promote the technique of sewing  in creative processes. The artworks were made by contemporary artists and were about issues of our current  world such as gender, identity and environmental problems.
