Teixint Identitats Exhibition

During my life I have not gone to many museums or art exhibition centers outside of the school

environment. That is why when I saw that in the program of this subject we had to analyze and

appreciate an art exhibition, I was excited.


First of all, because I like the freedom to choose what kind of exhibition we want to see because each

one has different interests and tastes.


Secondly, because I think going to an exhibition for yourself allows you to spend as much time as

you want without the pressure to appreciate the artwork for a certain period of time.

That said, being able to go and see the work of "Weaving Identities" at the Tecla Sala art center was a

very rewarding pleasure.


It's a work I liked because it talks about different social realities using metaphors, which I found very

original.

In addition, it also addressed issues of gender, identity, the environment and domestic and

social environments.


One of the things I liked the most was that it was a work made for everyone to interpret the work

freely, meaning there is no particular meaning but each person has their own meaning.
